NUVEX^® Partitioning System Specification

These NUVEX^® specifications is designed to provide architects and specifiers with all the information required to specify a project quickly, efficiently and accurately.

NUVEX^® Specification

NUVEX^® partitioning systems shall be supplied by Dotmar Engineering Plastics Pty Ltd. Doors, returns and pilasters will be constructed from

NUVEX^® polymer panels that will not swell, delaminate, splinter or absorb moisture. Panels will have monolithic colouring, be chemically inert, graffiti resistant and be 100% recyclable. The system shall be (floor mounted / floor to ceiling mounted / ceiling hung).

Generic Specification

Sanitary portioning systems shall be constructed from engineered polymer panels that will not swell, delaminate, splinter or absorb moisture. Panels will have monolithic colouring, be chemically inert, graffiti resistant and be 100% recyclable. Panels will be FDA approved, have a norminal thickness of 19mm & 25mm, a specific gravity of 0.97g/cm3 and a Shore “D” Hardness of 65. The system shall be floor mounted, floor to ceiling mounted or ceiling hung.

Material Specification

1. Partitioning Panels Doors, returns, pilasters, inserts and dividers shall be constructed from 19mm & 25mm NUVEX^® polymer panels
2. Head Rail & U Channels Shall be aluminium, natural / clear with an anodised finish
3. Door Hardware Shall be standard Dotmar issue – coat hook, turn-bolt and occupancy indicator, escape nib and bumper in satin chrome finish
4. Hinges Shall be standard Dotmar issue – gravity hinges, set in “hold open position” in satin chrome finish

Dimensional Specification

Toilet Cubicles Standard cubicles will be 900mm wide x 1500mm deep. Return panels and doors will be mounted 200mm above the floor. Full frontal height will be 2000mm with door heights at 1800mm
